My blog is going to be about a movie that I found was very interesting and moving, I really enjoyed how it was produced. The movie is based off of a true story about Tim Burton's little dog, he was a fluffy white mutt named Pepe he also had another dog named gray dog ​​Frosty. The movie Frankenwennie was inspired by the live action version for Disney that Tim Burton released in 1984. The way that this film as created to me is very interesting with the black and white colors, some very talented artists were actually able to convert the drawings of Tim Burton himself into three dimensional sculptures, witch then they added silicone in the cast, and all of their tiny clothes were sewn by miniature stitches to keep them intact and sturdy.

The movie starts off with a little boy who's name is Frankenstein he is a nerd for science and an outsider when he comes to school, his parents and a dog that is a bull terrier, one day his dog traumatically gets hit by a moving vehicle while playing catch with a ball with Frankenstein his best friend and he sadly didn't survive, I thought this. The little boy goes to class the next day and gets assigned a science project he then discovers a way to bring his dog back from the dead, because in class that day his science teacher Martin Landau was dissecting a frog and showing how the power of electricity can play a massive role in life and mostly bringing the dead back to life, he then shows how a tiny amount of power can make the muscles of a frog move and have reflexes.

The little boy whose name is Victor and his nickname is Frankenstein, he thinks of his dog instead of the frog at that moment in science class and he saved his dog named Sparky by coming up with a masterpiece of a plan, a massive science experiment which include a lot of power and electricity on Sparky that he thought he would bring him back from the dead. After school ended, Victor headed over to the cemetery where him and his parents had buried Sparky after he got hit by the car, he brought a shovel with him to dig him up, when he gets home with Sparky he is sneaky to make it to his room without his parents noticing what he's got in his arms. Although, Frankenstein wasn't one hundred percent positive he would all work out he didnt care he would do anything to see sparky wag his little tail again,

The science experiment was in fact successful, except he wasnt sure at first because Sparky hadnt moved he had lost hope until his little tail started wagging from underneath the sheet because Victor had done everything right. 

However, after Victor had brought Sparky back to life he decided to bring him outside since he think Sparky has probably missed the outside and the grass, one of Victors science classmate had walked by and heard the bark of Sparky he was in shock when he sees Sparky running around and asks Victor how he did it!!! Victor refuses to tell him because he wants to win in the science experiment competition if Victor had shown him he knew that he wouldnt win anymore. Although, his classmate didnt agree with him and wanted to see how he did it, if Victor did'nt show him he said that he would tell the whole school he has a dead but alive dog living at his house so Victor agrees. Instead of watching his classmate had tried to analyze his every move just so he could come back later and try for himself. Later on that evening. That being said, Vicor's classmate had shown up to Victors house whe he wasnt there with a bunch of his friends to show them what he had discover before enerting each classmate had dig up a dead animal to expire on. They start to expire but it all goes wrong when the animals start to become monstrous this lead to many consequences.

Afterall, the movies ends with a happy ending instead of Victor saving Sparkkky and brining him back to life, towards the end of the film Sparky had actually saved Victor from a burning house, only for Sparky to be dragged back into the burning house by Mr , Whiskers one of the mountainous animals, sparky was tragically impaled by a flaming piece of wood killing him once again. The happy ending is when the whole townfloks gather to reward Sparky for saving Victor by reviving him with their car batteries. 

 

My thoughts in this film is that it was made very good and I like how it's so unreal with all the unnatural things and creatures that appear throughout the movie, i love to watch horror science fiction films. To add, I think that the 3D stop motion animation in this movie was very nice to look at and watch and it adds to the white and black type of vibe in this movie it gives a good contrast. Also, stop motion animation is one of the oldest styles of animation, the animator in this film has to stop the puppet over 24 times just to get one second of film action. The message behind this animation movie is actually pretty cruel is that they belive that children should be able to play with daed things and to experiment with them because maybe it could teach them something.
